Specialist in Radiodiagnostics with PhD in Medicine and Experimental Therapy. Since 2001 he has been part of the Radiology staff at the San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital, Turin. Since 1994 member of the Italian Society of Medical Radiology (SIRM), and since 2005 of the European Society of Radiology (ESR). From 2012 to 2016 elected Councilor of the Thoracic Radiology Section of SIRM. Teaching in the Specialization Schools of Medical Physics, Pneumology and Radiology at the University of Turin. Expert in thoracic diagnostic imaging. Consultant and researcher for numerous clinical research studies on chronic interstitial lung diseases. Scientific reviewer for numerous scientific journals on clinical medicine and radiology. Speaker at numerous courses and conferences on thoracic diseases, with reports in particular on the comparison of lung ultrasound with high resolution chest CT in chronic and emergency interstitial and parenchymal lung diseases. Author of 160 scientific articles, abstracts and book chapters dedicated to thoracic diagnostic imaging with more than 3000 citations.
